K/1

Welcome to Kindergarten / First Grade!
We are so happy to be working with your children!

Ms. Dupuis

Working with children has been my passion for as long as I can remember.  I graduated from Saint Michael’s College in Vermont with a double major in Elementary Education and Psychology.  I have taught first grade for five years, preschool for three, Title I reading for five and I am now enjoying my second year teaching K/1.

I have two eleven year old boys that also attend John Fuller and a very lovable chocolate lab named Sophie.  When I’m not at school I enjoy hiking and skiing with my boys, running and anything involving the outdoors.  I am a firm believer in outdoor play and moving our bodies to stay healthy.

Hello!! I am Kim Whigham, K/1 multi-age teacher at John Fuller Elementary! I have been teaching for 17 years at this wonderful school! My teaching experience includes 5th grade, 3rd grade and currently K/1 multi-age. I love the JF pride our staff and students have! My favorite part of teaching is seeing a child’s face light up when they have learned something. It melts my heart to see how proud they feel about themselves. We build our classroom family with a focus on kindness, acceptance and safety.Oh and of course, we share lots of laughs and have fun all while learning!

I am the proud mom of two daughters, Hannah and Emma. They also attend John Fuller. I am married to my forever love, Scott. I love spending time with my family. In the winter, you can catch us skiing at Cranmore, or snowmobiling in our yard or on the trails. Summertime is our favorite! Being on the boat is our happy place! We enjoy swimming, tubing, and catching rays! When at the ocean, boogie boarding is a must! During the spring and fall months we are usually riding bikes, playing outside, and having campfires on the weekends.

Ms. Masse
I love teaching K-1 and being a part of the wonderful community here at John Fuller!  I grew up in Maine, but spent many years working and living in NH.  I recently moved back to my home state where I spend most of my free time growing flowers and vegetables on my family farm. I have 2 children Evan and Greta that also attend John Fuller.

Nature, art, music and horticulture are my passions, but I also love winter sports, swimming, biking and climbing.  I have a K-8 certification from Plymouth State University and a background in environmental education.  I am a strong advocate for play and not shy when it comes to singing goofy songs or using puppets!

In today’s society, children are spending less and less time outside. I believe it is important to give children opportunities to play freely in nature and to build long-term connections with the natural world they live in. We are so lucky to have Whitaker Woods right at our doorstep.  I love spending time with children in “green” spaces (building forts, digging in the dirt, planting gardens and exploring nature)!
